Mavrodaphne of Patras Grand Reserve
Deep brown colour. A complex bouquet of dried mixed fruit, such as plums, blackberries and black currants dominates the nose. Smooth palate and tannins completely rounded. This wine offers rich and elegant fruit aromas that are complimented with brown spice aromas from oak. The complexity allows this wine to evolve with the aeration and more fruit aromas are released. The delicate sweetness on the mouth progresses to a long finish with intense aromas of honey and brown spice.
Mavrodaphne of Patras
Dark amber color with brown hues. On the nose, an intense dark fruit bouquet of blackberry and blueberry, followed by sweet aromas of dried figs and plums. Great body weight, full mid-palate balanced by acidity.
Chateau Clauss
Chateau Clauss offers a complex aroma profile: At the beginning oak aromas such as leather and brown spice, particularly clove are prevalent. As the wine opens up, the black fruit aromas such as blackberry, black currant and some blueberry notes are released supported by hints of mint. Well-rounded and very elegant, this wine delivers a very velvety, smooth and soft mouth-full where the black fruit is still dominant. This estate wine is well balanced with a great oak driven long finish.
Aroma Lofou Red
Dark purple. Medium viscosity. Expressive dark fruit like plum and cherry, some spice. On the palate at first a rather astringent start, widening out to herbal and spicy tones. This wine needs an oily or fatty dish to come in balance. Robust finish.
Aroma Lofou White
Clear yellow. Medium viscosity. In the nose, zesty, fresh citrus-tropical fruit tones combine well with a tangy, floral note. On the palate pleasant, muscat flavors harmonize with fine acidity, resulting in a medium bodied, well structured aftertaste.
