Antonopoulos Vineyards was founded by the late visionary winemaker, Constantinos Antonopoulos near the city of Patras in the northwestern of Peloponnese. Constantinos saw the vast, untapped potential of this diverse landscape, especially the mountainous region of Achaia and the unique winemaking opportunities it presented.

A new up to-date winery has been built recently at Vasiliko, Achaia, where the majority of the winery’s vineyards are. Other vineyards are in the region of Achaia at an altitude ranging from 150 to 900 meters. Antonopoulos Vineyards control vineyards all over the Peloponnese, some owned by the winery and some owned by farmers who have years of collaboration with the winery and cultivate their vineyards under the guidance of Antonopoulos’s agronomists.
The main concern of the winery is to emphasize on the unique indigenous grape varieties of Greece while creating high quality wines from international varieties as well. The winery produces white and red wines at a ratio of 80 to 20% respectively. The whites are elegant and aromatic, with distinct acidity, matching a wide variety of dishes. Examples are: Mantinia, Adoli Ghis, Gris de Noir, Chardonnay, Malagouzia. Outstanding red wines are: Nea Dris, Private Collection, Morfeas (Mavrodafni) and Gerontoklima Rematias (Vertzami), with pure flavors of fruits and spices expressing the unique characteristics of the Achaean soil.
The vision of Antonopoulos Vineyards has always been the exploration of the dynamics of the indigenous Greek grape varieties. The aim is to become the Greek winery, which combines all the necessary elements to produce world-class wines. Exceptional wines emphasizing the characteristics of Greek origin.
