Paranga
Paranga is a refreshing and jammy combination: a supple Merlot in the background with a touch of a very spicy Syrah under the spell of a light and more easy-to-drink Xinomavro. Its ruby red color and herbal undertones are alluring. Its remarkable acidity gives rise to a complex bouquet of cinnamon, clove, and green pepper, and a long finish. It is made to be consumed young. Serve it cool as an aperitif or along with barbecue and spicy food in general.
Ramnista
A wine with a deep red color and rich red fruit aromas, such as strawberry and sour cherry on a background of tomato and vanilla from oak aging showing on the nose. Ramnista 2010 is a wine with a round mouthfeel, displaying a refreshing acidity and firm, but softer than usual, tannins, while the varietal character is more pronounced thanks to the more restrained use of barrel. The finish is filled with lingering notes of cherry, tomato and mushroom.
Dio Elies
A wine with an intense red color, Dyo Elies 2010 displays pronounced aromas of strawberry, cherry and black pepper on the nose, combined with notes of vanilla and tobacco from oak aging. On the palate, the rich aromatic character balances with the lip-smacking acidity and the soft tannins, which are the signature trait of the 2010 vintage. The long finish, leaving red fruit and black pepper flavors in the mouth, underpins the charming and complex character of a wine that is ready to drink now, while it can still benefit from long bottle aging.
Petra
Petra shows a yellow color with hay highlights. Fresh, with notes of lemon, citrus zest and spring flowers on the nose, on the palate it shows crispness and a beautiful, round finish. A wonderful wine that can be enjoyed all year round, on its own as an aperitif, or paired to salads, fresh cheeses and fish.
Diaporos
Deep red color, excellent volume, robust structure, and concentrated aromas of red fruits, violet and vanilla from the new French oak, compose a wine that showcases the great potential of block #5 of the Yianakohori vineyard. What makes however the 2011 Diaporos special is the unique expression of Xinomavro that this wine offers, a result of one of the best years that we had for a long time. As always, aging will round up its acidity and reveal its increasingly rich character.
Akakies Rose
Inspired by the Acacias grown around the Xinomavro vineyards of Amyndeon, this is the only Greek PDO rosé. The 2013 Akakies, has a vivid pink color with blue hints. On the nose it shows impressive juicy aromas of strawberry, cherry and flowers, while on the palate the intense red fruit character is balanced by the round acidity and underpinned by the long, fruity finish.
